Dulwich Picture Gallery: 2015 Exhibitions Preview

Last year ended with a visit to one of our favourite places, Dulwich Picture Gallery, where we met the director, Ian Dejardin, who told us what was coming up at the gallery in 2015. We then met all the curators of the exciting exhibitions which you can hear about in the video below.

I am particularly interested in the Escher exhibition, being one of the many many students who was taken by his graphic mind bending imagery – I can’t wait to see the originals in the gallery. I’m sure there is something for everyone at the gallery this year including a very unique and interesting challenge…

Land’s End to John O’Groats

This year my dad, Grant, walked over 1200miles from Land’s End to John O’Groats.

Land's End to John O'Groats

It is a journey he has wanted to complete for as long as I can remember and despite some initial injury concerns and other things that life throws at us he succesfully completed the walk at the end of July

Over the course of the walk he raised over £3000 for the British Heart Foundation, Cash 4 Kids and Combat Stress.

While he was walking I encouraged him to take some video footage on his phone that we could put together when we was done. He eased himself into the filming as he was enjoying the social life and beautiful views along the early stages.

We finally managed to get some files from him and threw this video together over a weekend for him to put on his blog:
